4. File Handling and Storage

4.1 Uploaded Files

  • Files you upload are stored securely on our servers or configured storage providers (S3, etc.)
  • File content is only accessed for preview generation and watermark application
  • We do not scan, analyze, or use your file contents for any purpose other than providing the preview service

4.2 URL-Based Previews

  • For URL-based previews (/u?url=...), we create short links that hide the original URL
  • The original URL is stored encrypted in our database
  • We do not download or cache the actual file content unless explicitly configured

4.3 File Retention

  • Uploaded files are retained according to your configured TTL (Time To Live) or subscription plan limits
  • One-time links are automatically deleted after first access
  • You can manually delete files and short links at any time through your dashboard

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information or file data. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Stripe (payments), cloud storage providers (S3, etc.), hosting providers
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We never share your uploaded files or URLs with third parties except as required by law.
